DRIFTING

Sitting in my lawn chair,,
Helium balloons tied with care,,
Drifting by in the sky,, bye,, bye,,
Sandbags dropped onto the neighbors lot,,
Higher and higher into the air…

Geese heading north and south as I rise,,
Starry night with moon so bright,,
Cow jumped over the moon,,
I saw it swoon,, be there soon…

Drifting by the rings of Saturn,,
Galactic wind guiding me,,
Towards the black hole matter stream,,
Thin as a green bean,,
Atom by atom,,

What a strange trip it has been,,
As if in a dream………
