THE SEA……………She calls to me
Her endless motion beckons
It stirs my soul
To feel her breathing below my feet
It is where I must go
Her sisters fingers in my hair
The limitless horizon before me
Calling me to roam
She stretches out before me
In unbound waters deep
I can not tame her
This tempest that I keep
She tests my being
Tossing me against her breast
In a contest I can never win
Sail with me she says
And you will know who you are
Come with me
Amidst my liquid blue
She calls to me
And I must forever go……….
